Aging: 4 months in new French oak barrels
Region: San Vicente, Baja California, Mexico.
Winemaker: Luis Rodriguez
Food pairing: ideal with dishes with oysters, squid and smoked fish. This wine goes well with chicken and rabbit dishes, poultry like quail, a perfect match with cheeses like gruyer, Edam or brie. Highly suggested for pasta with light sauces such as carbonara.
Chardonnay 2013 is the first white wine that I launch on the market, expressively with a natural, pleasant and simple freshness that expresses the terroir of Valle de San Vicente. Chardonnay is one of the few grapes that does not need mixing, it is complete and balanced.
Aromas of yellow lemon, figs and roasted almonds, accompanied by an accentuation of honey, leaving a smooth finish and a sensation of ripe citrus on the palate. It is a fresh wine that feels velvety on the palate, balanced acidity, straw yellow color that easily and expressively identifies the fruits of smell.
