Type: Full-bodied red wine
Vineyards: Located at 1050 meters above sea level, in Agrelo, one of the most prestigious areas of Mendoza.
Soil: Not very vigorous, clay loam on rocky bed.
Production: 8,000 kg per Hectare.
Harvest: Hand-picked in April. Cluster selection at the time of harvest and a second selection when the grapes are placed in small boxes.
Vinification: 25 to 30 days of total maceration, 5 to 7 days of cold maceration; 10 days of fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at 28-29°C 15 to 18 days of post-fermentation maceration.
Aging: 14 months in French oak barrels (30% new) and malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Color: Deep red.
Nose: Aromas of blackberry, black plum, fig, date, vanilla, cinnamon, toast.
Palate: Dry, fresh, soft, fleshy mouth, delivers red and ripe red fruits, rich and touch of dark chocolate. It has a long finish.
Food pairing: Beef, lamb, poultry.
