Type: Light-bodied red wine
Grapes are harvested early in the morning to capture the fresh fruit snap. The grapes are then crushed, chilled and cold soaked for 48hrs. After fermentation the young wine is gently pressed from the skins and transferred to oak for 6-9 months.
Color: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Smoked red-cherry and pomegranate-juice aromas.
Palate: Lush cherry and strawberry flavors with a hint of lightly toasted oak.
Food pairing: Roasted turkey, soft cheeses like Brie or Comté, or hearty vegetables like sautéed mushrooms.
