Nose: Crisp on the nose, very fragrant, mainly fruit aromas. Notes of red fruit and wild berries, especially ripe blackberry, redcurrant, and raspberry, as well as black pepper, vanilla, licorice, cacao, mallow flowers, and rockrose, together with background notes of oak.
Palate: Very well-structured, gentle. A dry wine, refreshingly tart, with warm alcohol and fine tannins, lending it a silky body. Mouth aroma highlighted by wild fruit, black pepper, vanilla, rockrose, and black licorice. A wine with a persistent finish.
Food pairing: Meats, fatty fish, Spanish cuisine, and casual dining.
