Intense red color with bright violet reflections, clean, bright and good adherence. It displays complex aromas of ripe plums and currant berries with a hint of liquorice and black pepper, as well as a well-assembled aroma of toasted oak. The deep layer presents aromas of humid forest and tobacco leaf. Earthy and slightly mineral, great concentration, very tasty to the taste, substantial and balanced, with a smooth and velvety texture, very well structured and balanced with fine-textured tannins. Wide, attractive and harmonious long finish.
12 months in French oak wood and 10 months in bottle.
Ideal for Argentine-style cuts and roasts, so it harmonizes very well with dishes of spiced red meats, grilled or stewed, small game, lamb ribs, roast suckling pig, meat patties, pate, turkey, chicken, kidneys, sausages, roast beef and with Holland, Cheddar and cured Manchego cheeses.
