This product is currently sold out.
Region: USA / California
Type: Dessert wine
Grapes for the Chenin Blanc are sourced from the Clarksburg appellation, referred to as the “Gem of the Delta.” The climate has a moderately long growing season and benefits from the maritime influence of the Sacramento River. The Viognier is sourced from Lodi, which has a classic Mediterranean climate, with warm days and cool nights. Natural air-conditioning is provided by the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta breezes and produces grapes with natural acidity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Color: Pale yellow.
Nose: Aromas of summer jasmine, honeyed pears, and chai spice.
Palate: Flavors of succulent tropical fruits like guava, papaya, and kiwi, complemented by melons, fresh apples, and lemon-lime. Crisp and refreshing as an aperitif or mixed as a cocktail.
Food pairing: It pairs well with a number of dishes, from light salads to seafood, and most notably with foods with a hint of spiciness.
