Type: Medium-bodied red wine
Vinification: Traditional Bordeaux de-stemming, gentle squeezing, and subsequent barrelling in warehouses. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation for three months with weekly stirring of lees.
Aging: In oak barrels, American (60%) and French (40%) for 16 months.
Color: Cherry red with a ruby rim.
Nose: Aromas of raspberry, cranberry, red plum and mint, with notes of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, licorice, and white pepper.
Palate: Balanced, with good acidity, soft tannins, and red fruit flavors. Long and pleasant finish.
Food pairing: Sausages, snacks, starters, hearty first courses, and meats in general.
