Vinification: Grapes are selected and sent to stainless steel tanks to carry out a pre-fermentation maceration. After a few days, alcoholic fermentation begins at a controlled temperature, using culture yeast. When finished, the malolactic fermentation will take place inside the barrels, and then give way to aging.
Aging: 14 months in French oak barrels
Color: A clean, bright ruby red wine.
Nose: Medium-high intensity, with aromas of ripe red fruits, raspberries, black cherries, tobacco with notes of peppers, cocoa and vanilla.
Palate: Ripe red fruits, medium-high-bodied with a pleasant acidity and a long-lasting finish in the mouth, soft tannins.
Food pairing: Grits, polenta and dishes with corn.
